Garbage pickup is every Tuesday. You should put your garbage out on Monday night after 7:00pm. If Tuesday is a Holiday, garbage will be picked up very early Wednesday morning, so you should put your garbage out Tuesday night. Garbage cans must be removed from the curb by 7:00pm the day of collection. All garbage must be bagged! Waste Management Customer Service 1-800-633-9096.

RECYCLING - The following information is from the Wantage Twp web site:
Residents are responsible for the disposal of their own recyclables. There is no municipal pickup.
Residents may dispose of their recyclables at the County Landfill located on Route 94 in Lafayette. The SCMUA facility in Lafayette offers FREE recycling. The recycling center hours are Monday through Saturday 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. For specifics on what material the facility accepts and other information please visit their website at www.scmua.org.They accept Hazardous Household Waste (Paint, old gasoline, pesticides, etc) several times a year. Visit their site for more info. They also have a recycling day for computer monitors (which contain lead) a couple of times a year.
Residents may contract with private garbage pickup providers for the recyclables removal. There is usually an additional fee for this service, added to the regular trash pickup charge.

ELECTRONIC WASTE RECYCLING DAYS: May 1, and October 2, 2010. Up to 5 items can be brought. E-Waste examples include computers, printers, cell phones, televisions, VCRs, DVD players, CD players, fax machines, copiers, radios, and stereos.
